Snapshots from Anguilla Day

May 30th marks a day of serious boat racing — and celebrating! — on the island of Anguilla in celebration of Anguilla Day. People flock to Sandy Ground in their blue, orange and white cheering on their boat of choice and washing fresh-off-the-grill ribs and chicken down with an ice cold rum punch. We took the boat out with guests and staff on board to follow the races and cheer on De Tree, a boat sponsored by the Frangipani Beach Resort. It was a day of blazing hot sunshine (with a couple of passing showers!), rum punch, and and an island tour. Here are a handful of snapshots from the festivities:
