Photo Essay: Aguas Calientes

A haven for backpackers, Aguas Calientes is home to cute shops, restaurants and cafes. While we didn’t stay in the area, we made our way down after exploring Machu Picchu and spending the night at the Sanctuary Lodge. For anyone traveling to the region on a budget, this is a go-to hub for those visiting Machu Picchu, with buses making their way to the famous site.
